This project explored a potential redesign of the visual identity for Aleko Konstantinov Middle School in Lukovit, Bulgaria, developed in collaboration with Why Why Agency. The brief was to reinterpret the existing school emblem while preserving its recognizability and cultural significance.

The process focused on an in-depth study of Aleko Konstantinov’s portrait, translated through a series of drawings into a simplified, stylized profile. The school’s signature bordeaux color served as a foundation for an expanded color palette, allowing greater flexibility across contemporary visual applications.

Although the emblem redesign was not implemented, the project resulted in a strong image video and a rewarding collaborative process, grounded in research, respect for heritage, and thoughtful design exploration.
